Quick answer

For converting many images free, BatchSet has no fixed batch cap and converts JPG, PNG and WebP in your browser, with no upload or signup. iLoveIMG takes 30 files per task free. TinyPNG takes up to 20 images of 5 MB each but converts only 3 per session free. CloudConvert and Convertio upload your files and allow 10 free credits a day.

How we compared them

We make BatchSet, so read this with that in mind. To keep it fair, every number for the other five tools comes from that company's own site: pricing pages, tool pages, help articles, and the file limits each tool page loads. If a site does not state a number, the table says "Not stated" instead of guessing.

All of it was checked on October 14, 2026. Prices are in US dollars as shown that day. We did not upload test files to the other services, so the watermark column reports what each site says, not an output test.

BatchSet's numbers come from the same config that enforces them in the app, so they change when our plans change.

Limits and price

The first thing that stops a bulk job is the batch size or the daily allowance. Here is what each tool allows for free.

Privacy, formats and watermarks

Two tools convert inside your browser, so the images never leave your device. The other four upload your files and delete them later; each states its own deletion window below.

Converting iPhone HEIC photos in bulk

iPhones save photos as HEIC, which many sites and Windows apps still reject. BatchSet's HEIC to JPG converter decodes them in your browser, free and in batches. A photo that couldn't be read in your browser can be converted on our servers for 1 credit with a free account.

Among the others, iLoveIMG and CloudConvert convert HEIC to JPG, TinyPNG returns HEIC uploads as JPG, and Convertio converts HEIC to most formats. Squoosh has no HEIC decoder of its own.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which free service supports batch PNG conversions for multiple files at once?

BatchSet converts PNG to and from JPG and WebP in batches with no fixed cap, in your browser and without signup. iLoveIMG converts PNG to JPG at 30 files per task free. TinyPNG accepts 20 images at a time but converts only 3 per session free. CloudConvert and Convertio accept several files but limit free use to 10 credits a day. Squoosh does one file at a time.

Which bulk image converter does not upload my files?

BatchSet and Squoosh convert inside your browser, so the images stay on your device. iLoveIMG, TinyPNG, CloudConvert and Convertio upload files to their servers. iLoveIMG says it deletes them after download, TinyPNG keeps them up to 48 hours, and CloudConvert and Convertio delete them within 24 hours.

Can I convert HEIC photos in bulk for free?

Yes. BatchSet's HEIC to JPG tool converts batches in your browser for free. iLoveIMG converts HEIC to JPG, TinyPNG turns HEIC uploads into JPG, and CloudConvert and Convertio support HEIC within their 10 free credits a day. Squoosh has no HEIC decoder of its own.

How many images can BatchSet convert at once?

There is no fixed batch size. Conversion runs on your device, so speed depends on your computer, not a server queue. Without an account you get 1,000 free conversions in a browser; a free account removes that cap.

Do any of these tools add a watermark?

None of the six says it adds a watermark to converted images. We did not upload test files to check the output. BatchSet only adds a watermark when you switch on its watermark option, which is a Pro feature.

Why is BatchSet on this list?

We built BatchSet, so this page is not neutral, and we say so. Every number for the other tools comes from their own sites, with the pages listed under Sources, so you can check them yourself.
