Free — no signup, runs in your browser

Crop to any ratio on your device — your image is never uploaded.

100% private. Cropping runs in your browser — your image is never uploaded.

Quick answer

BatchSet crops an image into a circle free and entirely in the browser. The area outside the circle is made transparent and the result is saved as PNG, because JPG cannot store transparency; the crop frame is locked square, so the result is a true circle rather than an oval. The photo can be rotated, straightened and flipped before the crop, and nothing is uploaded.

How to use the Circle Crop

2

Frame the circle

Drag to move and scroll or pinch to zoom until the face or logo sits inside the round frame.

3

Crop and download

The outside is made transparent and the file is saved as PNG.

Frequently asked questions

What happens outside the circle?+

It becomes transparent, so the photo really is round rather than a circle drawn on a white square. That is why the file is saved as PNG.

Why can't I save a circle crop as JPG?+

JPG cannot store transparency, so the corners would come back as a colour. Choosing a circle switches the output to PNG for you.

Will the circle be a perfect circle?+

Yes. The crop frame is locked square, so the result is round and not an oval, whatever shape the photo was.

Is it free, and is my photo uploaded?+

It is free with no account and no watermark, and nothing is uploaded: the crop happens in your browser.

Can I straighten the photo first?+

Yes. The same tool rotates in quarter turns, straightens by a small angle and flips, all before the crop.
