Yes. The date taken, camera and lens are written into the PNG. GPS location is removed by default. Tick Keep location if you want it.

Should I choose PNG or JPG?+

Choose PNG for a lossless copy you will edit, or when a tool asks for PNG. Choose JPG for a much smaller file to share or email.

What if a photo won't convert?+

Your browser can't read a few photos, such as very large panoramas or unusual HEIF types. Those are marked, and you can convert them on our servers with a free account for 1 credit each.
