Quick answer
BatchSet rotates images free and entirely in the browser, with no upload and no sign-up. A quarter turn (90, 180 or 270 degrees) only moves whole pixels, so nothing is softened; the Straighten slider turns a photo by any angle from -45 to +45 degrees, which grows the canvas to the tilted corners and fills them with white, black or transparent. It turns the pixels rather than the EXIF orientation tag, so the result looks the same in every app, and many images can be rotated at once with a ZIP download.
Three quick steps — free, private, right in your browser.
Drop one or many JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP or AVIF files.
90, 180 or 270 degrees, and the Straighten slider for anything in between.
Every image is turned in your browser. Save them one by one or as a ZIP.
A quarter turn (90, 180 or 270 degrees) only moves whole pixels, so nothing is softened. Any other angle has to resample the picture, which softens fine detail slightly. A JPG is also written again at quality 92 either way, because the browser saves a new file.
A tilted picture no longer fits its old rectangle, so the canvas grows to the rotated corners and the new empty corners are filled with the colour you choose. A quarter turn just swaps the width and height.
Yes. Add a whole set, pick one angle and download them as a ZIP.
It is free with no account and no watermark, and nothing is uploaded: the rotation runs on your own device.
Yes, and for good. Some photos look upright in one app and sideways in another because the turn is stored in the EXIF orientation tag rather than the pixels. Here the pixels themselves are turned, so the result looks the same everywhere.
No. A GIF added here gives a still image of its first frame. For an animation, use the GIF tools instead.
