Quick answer

BatchSet flips images horizontally, vertically or both, free and entirely in the browser with no upload. A horizontal flip mirrors a front camera selfie back the right way round. Many images can be flipped at once with a ZIP download, and size and format are kept.

How to use the Flip Image

Three quick steps — free, private, right in your browser.

1

Add your images

Drop one or many images, or click to pick them.

2

Choose the direction

Horizontal mirrors left and right, vertical turns top and bottom. Use both for a 180 degree turn.

3

Flip and download

Each image is flipped in your browser. Save them one by one or as a ZIP.

Frequently asked questions

How do I mirror a selfie?+

Add the photo and keep Horizontal on. Front cameras often save the photo mirrored, so text on a shirt or sign reads backwards; flipping it horizontally puts it back the right way round.

What is the difference between flip and rotate?+

Flipping mirrors the image, like a reflection. Rotating turns it around its centre. Flipping both horizontally and vertically gives the same result as rotating 180 degrees.

Is it free?+

Yes. No account and no watermark, and the images are flipped on your own device.

Does flipping lower the quality?+

PNG is lossless, so a flipped PNG is identical apart from the direction. JPG and WebP are saved again at high quality (92), which is very hard to tell apart from the original.

Are my images uploaded?+

No. Everything happens in your browser and nothing is sent to a server.

Can I flip many images at once?+

Yes. Add them all, pick a direction and download a ZIP.
