JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC. Each photo is compressed to 15 KB as soon as you add it.
Quick answer
BatchSet compresses a photo or signature to 15 KB free and entirely in the browser, with no upload and no sign-up. It searches for the highest JPG quality that fits 15 KB and, since a full photo cannot fit that small, scales the image down and shows the final pixel size. It suits signature and photo fields on application forms; if a form also fixes the pixel size, resize first, then compress. Several files can be done at once and downloaded as a ZIP.
Three quick steps — free, private, right in your browser.
Drop a JPG, PNG, WebP or iPhone HEIC file, or click to pick one. A scanned or photographed signature works the same way.
The tool tries the highest JPG quality that fits 15 KB. A full phone photo is far too big for that, so it also scales the image down and shows you the new pixel size.
Save the JPG, or download several at once as a ZIP.
Yes. No account, no credit and no watermark. It runs in your browser, so there is nothing for us to charge for.
No. The file is read, compressed and saved on your own device and is never sent to us. For a signature or an ID photo that matters.
For what 15 KB is used for, yes. Forms that ask for 15 KB want a small passport-style photo or a signature, not a full-size picture, so the tool scales the image down to a few hundred pixels wide. The card shows the final size in pixels so you can check it before uploading.
Sign in dark ink on plain white paper, take the photo in good light and crop close around the signature before you add it. A tight crop on a clean background compresses far better than a full page, so the signature stays sharp at 15 KB.
Many forms give both, for example a width and height plus a KB limit. Set the pixel size first with the Image Resizer, then bring that file to this page for the 15 KB step. The tool only scales down further if 15 KB cannot be reached any other way.
You get the smallest version the tool could make, with a note saying so, instead of a file that only claims to be 15 KB. Cropping tighter or using a plainer background usually fixes it.
