White padding is not background removal
The preset's white padding creates a square canvas, but it does not remove the original background inside your photo. Daraz requires a pure-white (#FFFFFF) background on the main image — so check that the product itself is photographed or isolated on pure white. If it isn't, cut it out first.

The 1200 × 1200 size and JPG q82 output are BatchSet's own defaults, not Daraz rules — Daraz accepts JPEG or PNG, and its file-size guidance is a target, not a guarantee. Verified against Daraz's official image guidelines (2026-09-21).

Daraz image FAQs
What size should Daraz product images be?
Daraz's official image guidelines require a square 1:1 image and recommend a minimum resolution of 1024px. This tool's Daraz preset squares every image to 1200 × 1200 with white padding — comfortably above the 1024px minimum — and keeps every control editable.
What format does Daraz accept?
Daraz accepts JPEG or PNG. JPEG is usually best for photos; PNG is fine too (and better for transparency). The preset outputs JPG by default, but you can switch to PNG or WebP in the Output settings.
What file size should Daraz images be?
Daraz suggests keeping images small — its guideline aims for roughly 100KB to 1MB. Actual file size depends on the photo, so the tool measures the real output size after optimizing rather than promising a fixed number. If a file lands larger than you want, lower the quality slider.
Does the white padding meet Daraz's white-background rule?
Not on its own. Daraz requires a pure-white (#FFFFFF) background on the main image. The preset's white padding squares the canvas, but it does NOT remove or replace the background inside your photo. Make sure the product itself is photographed or cut out on white — you can use the free AI Background Removal tool for that.
