Quick answer

BatchSet changes the playback speed of a GIF from 0.25x to 4x, free and entirely in the browser. It rewrites only the delay stored for each frame, scaled by the same factor so frames keep their relative timing, which means no re-encoding and no quality loss. No frame is set below 0.02 seconds, because browsers play shorter delays at 0.1 seconds.

How to use the GIF Speed

Three quick steps — free, private, right in your browser.

1

Add your GIFs

Drop one or many .gif files. Each card shows how long one loop takes now.

2

Pick a speed

Above 1x plays faster, below 1x slower. 2x halves the loop, 0.5x doubles it.

3

Apply and download

The new timing is written in your browser. Save the GIFs one by one or as a ZIP.

Frequently asked questions

Does changing the speed lower the quality?+

No. A GIF stores a delay for each frame, and only those delays are rewritten. The pixels are not touched or re-encoded, so the file size stays exactly the same.

Is it free?+

Yes. No account and no watermark, and it runs on your own device.

Will frames with different timing stay in step?+

Yes. Each frame's delay is scaled by the same amount, so a pause that was twice as long as the other frames is still twice as long.

Why won't my GIF go any faster?+

Browsers play any frame delay under 0.02 seconds at 0.1 seconds, which would make the GIF slower, not faster. So no frame is set below 0.02 seconds, and a GIF that is already that fast can't speed up further.

Are my GIFs uploaded?+

No. The GIFs are processed in your browser and never sent to a server.

Can I change many GIFs at once?+

Yes. Add them all, pick one speed and download a ZIP.
