Quick answer

BatchSet pixelates images free and entirely in the browser, with a pixel size from 2 to 64px. It averages the colour of each block, so the hidden detail is not stored in the result. Many images can be pixelated at once with a ZIP download, the image size is kept, and JPG, PNG (with transparency) and WebP keep their format.

How to use the Pixelate Image

Three quick steps — free, private, right in your browser.

1

Add your images

Drop one or many JPG, PNG or WebP images, or click to pick them.

2

Pick the pixel size

Small blocks give a pixel-art look; 20px or more hides faces and text.

3

Pixelate and download

Each image is pixelated in your browser. Save them one by one or as a ZIP.

Frequently asked questions

Is pixelating images free?+

Yes. No account and no watermark, and the images are processed on your own device.

Are my images uploaded?+

No. Pixelation runs in your browser, which matters when the point is hiding something private.

Can pixelation be undone?+

The detail inside each block is averaged away and is not stored in the file. But small blocks over text can sometimes be guessed back by matching fonts, so for passwords, numbers or names use a large pixel size (20px or more) or cover the area completely. Keep the original private.

Can I pixelate just one part, like a face?+

This page pixelates the whole image. To hide one area, crop that area out with the Image Cropper, pixelate it here, or pixelate the whole image and keep the original for yourself.

Does it keep the image size and format?+

Yes. The width and height stay the same, JPG stays JPG, PNG stays PNG with its transparency, and WebP stays WebP. Other formats are saved as PNG.

Can I pixelate several images at once?+

Yes. Add them all, pick one pixel size and download a ZIP.
