Quick answer
BatchSet resizes a left thumb impression for application forms free and entirely in the browser, with no upload and no sign-up. It starts at the size the 2026 IBPS notices for PO/MT, Clerk and SO give: a JPG of 240 × 240 pixels at 200 DPI (3 × 3 cm) between 20 KB and 50 KB. From a photo or scan of an impression on white paper it turns the paper white while keeping the ink colour, trims the empty margins, fits the impression to that size, writes 200 DPI into the file and sets the JPEG quality so the file lands inside the KB range without changing the pixel size. Any other pixel size and KB range can be typed in. It does not draw or sharpen the ridges.
Three quick steps — free, private, right in your browser.
Press your left thumb on a black or blue ink pad, then once on plain white paper. Take a photo straight from above in good light, or scan it, and drop the JPG, PNG, WebP or BMP here.
It starts at 240 × 240 px at 200 DPI and 20 to 50 KB, the IBPS size. If your form asks for something else, pick a custom pixel size and type its KB range.
The paper turns white, the empty space is trimmed, and the impression is fitted to the size and KB range. Check that the ridges are clear, then save the JPG.
The 2026 IBPS notices for PO/MT (CRP PO/MT-XVI), Clerk (CRP CSA-XVI) and SO (CRP SPL-XVI) all give the same rule: a jpg or jpeg file, 240 × 240 pixels at 200 DPI, which is 3 × 3 cm, and a file size of 20 KB to 50 KB. The impression goes on white paper in black or blue ink. This tool starts with exactly those settings.
Add a photo or scan of the impression, keep the 240 × 240 px size and the 20 and 50 in the KB boxes, and press the button. Only the JPEG quality changes to land inside the range; the pixel size stays at what the form checks.
Use a little ink, not a lot, so the ridges do not fill in. Press the thumb once without sliding it. Photograph it from straight above in even daylight with no shadow across the paper, or scan it. The IBPS notices say an unclear or smudged impression gets the application rejected, so check the result before you upload it.
The IBPS notices allow the right thumb when the left is missing, then a finger of the left hand starting from the forefinger, then a finger of the right hand, then the left toe. In that case you must say in the uploaded document which finger, hand or toe it is. The tool sizes whichever impression you give it the same way.
A clean impression on white paper can hold fewer bytes than the minimum even at the best quality. The tool tells you when that happens instead of handing you a file that breaks the rule. Turning off Clean background keeps the paper texture and adds bytes, and a sharper photo with darker ridges does the same.
Yes. Pick Custom size, type the width and height in pixels your form gives, and type its KB range. Check your own form's instructions, because sizes differ between exams.
No. Everything runs on your own device and the photo is never sent to us. That matters for a fingerprint.
